Through her work supporting families facing health challenges she saw just how important staying connected with others is for our overall health and happiness.
Kristine’s expertise stems from 30 years of experience in designing innovative programs in education, research, and community outreach at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now Shirley Ryan AbilityLAB) where she developed an award-winning education center that supports family and professional resource knowledge in over 181 countries.
As CEO of Power To Be, Kristine Cichowski has designed innovative programs in education, research, and community outreach for over 30 years. Kristine earned a Master’s of Science degree in Health Administration and Systems Design from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Illinois-Urbana. Kristine is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner from the National Council of Dementia Practitioners.
